About me...

I was born in Wyoming, but grew up in a small town on the Central Coast of California. I married my HS sweetheart and for 25+ years we lived all over the U.S. and overseas. In 2017, we decided it was time to retire and move back home. We have three children and are nearly empty nesters now. We love to travel, camp and hang out with family & friends. I love the outdoors, weight lifting and am an avid bourbon connoisseur.

How it all started...

“The Welder’s Daughter” was started in January 2011 as a tribute of sorts to my dad. Growing up, my dad was a very talented welder, and in 1986 he purchased a machine & fabrication shop. As a little girl, I loved walking through his shop and finding unique pieces of fabricated metal in the machine bins. I started creating jewelry out of those items over 30 years ago as a fun little side hobby. With some gentle nudging from my husband, my hobby turned into a business.

I love to mix different metals, old and new components, unique charms and beads to create a one of a kind piece, unique to only you.

I lost my dad in November 2019, but his spirit lives on in each piece that I craft. I hope that you will enjoy these pieces as much as I love creating them.

In memory of my dad, Geoff Davidson.
